As a mother of 3 and with quite severe back problems, I was virtually unable to do any form of exercise. Vanessa devised a programme specifically for my needs targeting specific areas of concern. Her knowledge was amazing, and within 10 months I ran my first 5 km run non stop in a Capital City Multi Sports event. Vanessa's approach was just what I needed to get back into exercise, and her ability to evaluate my situation both physically and mentally on any given day, and design the programme specific to me was great.

I have been training with Vanessa at “Fitness Stimulus” for 18 months.

During this time I have found her one-on-one sessions and group sessions both hard work and exhilarating but also lots of fun. The Sessions are always promoted at “work at your pace” but Vanessa also provides you with the motivational get up and go that sometimes is required while exercising.

Vanessa has been my personal trainer for 10 months .She has a very positive approach and acknowledges my strenghts and weaknessess.Vanessa is always very encouraging, even if I am not feeling very motivated. I had never worked with a personal trainer before Vanessa, and would describe myself as someone who 'pottered' at the gym.  Having now worked with her for over a year, I am so pleased I made the leap.  Vanessa has worked with me to achieve real results in weight loss and toning, and to push my fitness levels to the highest they've ever been.  Every session is a challenge, but Vanessa's enthusiasm and support make working hard fun and rewarding.  I would highly recommend Vanessa to anyone with a fitness goal.  If I could see her every day, I would!

As a keen runner and ex pro cyclist, I'm an absolute cardio addict.  I never had the patience for weights and believed it couldn't get my heart rate up enough to be of any benefit to me.  I had a few winter niggles and as I couldn't get my usual outdoor cardio fix, I decided I may as well give weights a go and see what all the fuss was about.  Coincidentally that was the same day I met Vanessa!  We've been training together for 6 weeks and whoah!  I now love weights!  Vanessa works me hard, and I leave the gym feeling strong and that I've had an awesome workout.
 
The biggest improvements I have noticed so far, have been in my core strength, upper body strength, and my balance.  This has surprising really helped me with my running and cycling too!
 
Trouble is, when Vanessa isn't around, and I'm doing my own session either on the bike or running - I can still hear her voice when I'm struggling!  "C'mon, two more, you can do it!"
